Haaaaar-haaaaar-haaaar Hardcore Uproar, will soon be heard across the airwaves next month when Together release new 2009 mixes of their classic early 90's track, Hardcore Uproar. Three remixes from One Man & His Dog, Sharooz and Lee Mortimer will be released exclusively on Beatport.com on August 3rd and you can be amongst the first to preview them by clicking on the House Trained audio player at www.house-trained.com. Not really "old skool" but may be worth taking a listen.
You can remind yourself of the truely pianotastic original in the Rave History Archive.
Available now for pre-order from Ninety Two Retro, is a chance to buy Mystrey Man - DJ Business and two unreleased mixes from Fokus Records.

The Prodigy release their new single on Monday 16th Feb 2009. Omen, taken from the much hyped Invaders Must Die album, is a return to the more ravey sound they are famous for. You can download the ep from iTunes now or from the 16th Feb from other online mp3 stores (where it's more likely to be DRM free!)

Run out of disk space! Got half a corrupt database backup which I'm trying to restore. Forum is a bit knackered at the moment, but hopefully will be back soon.
[Update] All back to how it should be :)
Welcome to the new look Back To The Old Skool. The site took a bit of a break last year and didn't really get updated much. Hopefully the move to a new server after all the trouble with the forum in the late summer and the new backend software running the site (some of the original pages were 10 years old!!) will kick start me in to updating the main site a bit more. Let me know what you think of the new look and any suggestions you might have for new areas or features.
