I’ve heard of the name, didn’t really take much notice of him back in day because he was named after a fizzy drink but listened to his tunes again recently and are top notch though. How old was he? RIP anyway. Good ones go first.

Really?? He made some of the biggest tunes of 92/93. How could you not take notice!

Guessing he was mid 40s. Way too soon :(

Well back then I was a toy town raver at 13years in 1992 I only knew chart toppers like the prodigy, sesame treat, far out, dj seduction, the shamen, 2U, slipmatt and dj hype. Had very little knowledge of the underground scene at time apart from Amiga demos like Jesus on Es and psi division if you can call it that.

sad news indeed, a massive contribution to the rave scene with Tales from the dark side alone.

What were his TOP TANGO TRACKS? That tango and ratty stuff I wasn’t really into, too junglist for me.

He made some great breaks tracks with DJ pulse... Don't know how to add you tube links... But check our initial research on mob records....

Rip.

I met Tango in december 2006 in Tenerife, we talked for a while about music as we picked him up from the airport going to a rave that my mate was celebrating...I can't believe it, he was way too young, my mate says that he had posted something about a strong flu on Facebook? wtf??

It's rare to have a producer at the top of the game and to have the Midas touch on everything they did but tango did it. From the early formation stuff to the jungle remixes and of course the great tango and ratty tunes. I would buy his stuff on sight without even listening to it back in the day.
Very sad news, I don't post on here very often but on hearing this wanted to say something.
