DJ Vibes has something going on.... Lots of geek information on his 1994 releases on his Facebook plus a new album made using hardware gear... Check his video here - hattrixx.co.uk/vibesnextchapter

Interesting stuff, we need some proper nu-oldskool... also what happened to his partner wishdokta? He made some props oldskool back in day.

I'd trust Hattrixx in terms of being able to provide authentic and musically exciting music in that vein, for sure.

Although i don't know about the exclusive album model...at least if the idea is to go down the DJ Ham route. I mean i understand it in the context of there being so much free music that charging money and making it exclusive has some sense, but I dunno...

(for anyone who's not aware of that, there's an article on Luna C's site about it..)

Can't find much at all, soundcloud with the odd remix but no official profile I can find on hatrixx. Has he taken stuff down or something?

Why does it need to be kept to an "exclusive number of people" at an "exclusive price" ?

You'd damn well hope it'd be under 150 pounds for 10 tracks.

Damn hope it ain't that price, nothings that good for that price surely for just tunes, what are they going to do that is new and exciting, you'll never beat the original oldskool, it's not a novelty any more, it's like teaching an old dog new tricks? Liam howlett from prodigy is producing again too and says hes going oldskool again but I bet it will still be a disappointment!

I reckon wishdokta was more underground, vibes went the cheesy happy hardcore root!

OK so on the DJ Vibes facebook page they say they are including all MIDI, samples and presets with the tunes in the package. So could be worthwhile depending on the price.

Personally I wouldn't go over 30 pounds for 10 MP3s + good quality sample pack.
Maybe a few years ago i could have given a little more but the economy isn't doing too great here.

A sample pack with it lol haha, spouse that's a new way of marketing it... anything for 30quid! I doubt it will be any good just like that We're not Dead album, it was good but overhyped and was mainly template music so a reporter said lol.

Bit much for me.
