Re: Boogie Times..
Went to boogie times a few times but only much later on like v late 90s so not really in this era.
Listening to you lot reminisce about the places you've brought tunes - I wonder how many of you bumped in to each other whilst buying tunes and are now posting on here but dont realise it! - I bet there's a few!!

Hi all, first post here, Boogie Times was a huge of my younger days growing up in Romford, I spent many an afternoon in there listening to music when I should've been at 6th form college, Sub Base was an awesome label and seeing the artists popping in the shop from time to time was inspiring to a young whipper snapper like myself.

I still have that black L/S spray can t-shirt - never went to the shop though, I think I bought it through mail order in about 1993.

Re: Boogie Times..
I bought the "flowers in my garden" ep on CD single from Danny Breakz which was kinda cool. I was gonna ask for it to be signed, but thought it a bit silly. Wish I had now.

Re: Boogie Times..
Judging by the flyers and tapepacks on the wall - i would say it was oct/nov 1993. would love a time machine also. could easily spend all day in somewhere like that blasting out the ardcore!
Re: Boogie Times..
Used to live in there - spent loads !.
How busy was it on saturdays - sometimes you couldn't get in the door. You used to get loads of bods djing on the decks on sat. Oh to go back to then - i'd spend £££££££ !!!!

Re: Boogie Times..
I went to MASH a few times back in '92 : Dosse Posse clothes in full effect!
I seem to remember that downstairs in the record section there were loads of signs saying 'No Photography'. Very odd.
My mate bought a few mixtapes by Noodles + Wonder who i presume worked there.......

Re: Boogie Times..
I know a bit late, but only just came across this!
My mate used to work at Boogie Times from 1995 or late 1994. His name was Dj Elite and went on to become one half of Decorum on Liftin Spirits. He also was on Future FM with my best mate Dj Polo. I also remember Dj Ash from Kool Fm working there. It was my local record shop. I heard it only closed because Dan Donnelly wanted to move into films.
