Hardcore hall of fame.
Hardcore hall of fame.
What tracks would you put in there & why?
Big tune kaned by Force FM back in the day. Had mine nicked in 94 & brought a copy from RG in the early 00's :)
This one reminds me of Unity 88.4 & Force FM they proper played this to death.
After hearing this chart/grunge music can go take a long walk...... good pill that night.....

Eon - Spice
Probably the tune that really got me into the old skool - first heard on a pirate radio show while on a lunch break at my old work. Took years to find out what it actually was and get it.
All of the following just hold memories of being at college (good old days!), either when in one of the lads cars driving around during some of the bigger breaks between classes, or tunes bought at the local music shop, recorded to take & blasted out on a sony walkman on the way to college :
Turntable Symphony - Instruments of Life (Original)
Nu-Matic - Into a Dream / Hard Times
Manix - Oblivion / Feel Real Good (Remix) / Special Request (Hero Mix)
Project One - Smokin Chalice
Hypnotist - Hardcore You Know The Score / The Ride
Rufige Cru - Menace - Remember recording a bit of this from a radio show & playing it to someone in Record Village (E17) - They had to order it in, but they knew what it was :)
SMF4 - Guillotine (Psychotic Remix) - Another pirate radio tune. Took many years to track this git down (pre internet). Absolutely mental tune!
Sublove - One by One - I remember getting this in a swap by none other than Mr Lien above (During my brief time living in E10).

'Mixed Truth'- Ragga Twins
The first hardcore tune that i bought back in 1991 from a small record shop over the road from my school.
Not one of their more well known tracks, but i think its half decent.
I think i was still sort of clinging to my hip hop sensibilities as i loved 'Juggling' which had both lyrics and a slower tempo so to me The Ragga Twins weren't really rave.....

Re: Hardcore hall of fame.
Not sure it is just whats your fav tunes are, as I would include these (and they are not favs!)..
Urban Shakedown - Some Justice
Zero B - Lock Up
But surely most anthems would need to be in a hall of fame

I need to thank you Ian for introducing me to that children's story tune. I picked it up a while back on discogs for 50p! Pukkaian saunders remix wrote:Basically, what's your favourite tunes :D
