Ha I remember this from an old pirate tape I used to have. I love the muppets samples. Wouldn't be the same without them.
Has it always been this expensive? I seem to remember when someone originally I'D'd it a few years ago it was a £10ish tune!?

(

Re: How good is this ep - damn expensive tho
I odn't know about the rest of the tunes, but that one on Youtube is shite!
Re: How good is this ep - damn expensive tho
to silly a tune really only seems good about 3mins 52 in . whats the Instrumental on the A2 like ?. B-Side squeeky 'cum on now ' is really annoying.

Re: How good is this ep - damn expensive tho
uh oh, feel a lengthy rant coming on...
So true, and it always rubs off on other sellers who think their copies are worth just as much. Funny you mention that Burning Chrome, that seems to have been terminally overpriced past 6 months or so, no doubt because of beat4streets having the only copy for a little while. .. One seller had it for maybe 130GBP, I tried reasoning with him and he fully admitted he had no idea about the record (was more of an indie/pop seller) but it "seemed rare" so that was the price and that was that.
This seems to be a trend with some sellers, they'd rather default to charging WAY Too much for a record and be talked down (to half the price of a car vs the full price of a car :) ), than risk getting less than "market value" for a record. Even if they only paid 10p for it themselves! I guess I shouldn't throw terms like "greedy" around since it's somewhat admirable for anyone to be selling records in this day and age, especially if they do a good job with fast/reliable shipping... and I'm sure it's not exactly a lucrative business. But it certainly does deflate the online buying experience quite a bit when a ton of the rareties seem to be listed by mega-sellers who charge inhuman amounts, and then constantly relist them every few days so the same overpriced copies are constantly showing up on your "new items for sale in your wantlist" pages.
As for the burning Chrome, I waited another couple of months and got a copy in perfectly playable condition for 19 pounds :) Still a bit steep but well worth it for a 5 tracker with a number of must-play tracks!

Fine the tunes are mint/unplayed, but 5 times plus their actual value in some cases is just plain greedy IMO

Hi,
170 for that awful Muppets vinyl LOL. I still see them at record fairs etc, £5 max!
And why is Trouble On Vinyl #1 £300! It is NOT rare, I see them all the time, in fact I've quite a few copies myself!
Bear Necessities release £140 LOL, I can still get them for 55p a copy!
