They are also very fussy about the picture - has to be the exact size & u have to have your head in just the right place to make sure your eyes & chin are lined up to their specs.
All details should be on the application form

Need to sort my passport out, it went out of date last year.

The mood i'm in today i'm seriously thinking about f*ckin off to Thailand for about 5 or 6 months with the profit i made selling my house a few weeks back i could live very nicely for a long time over there!!

My mates got it sorted, he's a skulptor (sorry maybe spelt wronge!) he goes off to thailand about now each year chills over there doing his skulptures gets them made up in bronze over there which is about a quauter of the price it costs over here then ships them back when he comes back over in april, spends the summer selling them at various art / craft fares across the country then does one back to Thailand when it starts to get cold again!
Sounds good to me, pitty i'm shit at art etc!!

and it's £66 to renew the bloody thing too (i think it's £66 anyway).

There's no way i'm gonna do mine just yet - puffy faced and pregnant. Pah!! I'll wait til i've at least had the baby and then get both our passports done together. Gone are the days when you just added a kid onto your passport....... *sigh*

England is really expensive i think when reading this. For that amount you would get a decent 1992 hardcore-tune.

It will cost me several hundred to get my passport redone because I have to do it through an embassy or something.

Don't panic Eyeski, I can't find anything online regarding fingerprints being necessary for passports this year. I did a search but pretty much all stories were from 2005 and speak about it starting in 2006 - which it didn't.

Where did you hear of this story DD?

Can't find it now but here's a Guardian article about the interviews and fingerprinting from 2009. Sure it's next month though... I'll keep looking.
