Things that make you despair!

Post by Mr_Geese » Wed Apr 10, 2013 2:57 pm

Usually i'm a live a let live sort of chap i dont question what people do with there cash, time, life until recently

my missus has started working from home answering questions on the internet for the company 6336 you may or may not have seen them advertise on tv (i've not, because i stopped watching tv)

So she starts off, and it's getting kinda repetitive answering question along the lines of "who is john smith" so i say to her well people wanna find out about other people, she says it's not asking about other people it's people asking about themselves.

Obviously i told her to shut up and stop lieing, so she showed me and there it was 90% of the questions were what's known in the business ego questions, i still cannot get my head round it, are people really that self absorbed and lonely?

You get teenagers texting and asking who they will marry! i mean fair enough if it was costing them 10p i guess you could put it down to a bit of fun, i mean a modern day horoscope! it costs 2 fucking 50 to send one of these questions.
Sometimes you'll get somebody texting asking who is blah blah (them) she would then answer, before you know it they text back saying your wrong! well ok mate, it's you asking about yourself and you've just spent a fiver

It's easy money and if people didn't fall for this bollocks services like that wouldn't exist. It's the same as those adult dating sites or premium rate numbers. You can get several premium rate numbers for a few quid and BT just take a percentage. You set up a website(that's usually pre-made for about £100), and you link it into a main database(they generally all link to the same place). Get a few business cards made and scattered around a few strategic places, get a dirt cheap TV advert on ITV at 1-2am and bobs your uncle. Money for old rope. People will pay for anything thats sex related and provocative.

:)

Peace...

I'm not a fan of Dubstep, but I can appreciate it's experimental and randomness. In that respect it's nothing more than a modern day oldskool. The only difference being that you can't dance to it.

:)
