Employer's Generosity at Christmas

Post by Ric » Wed Dec 14, 2011 3:52 pm

Our Christmas meal is in the work canteen and we have to pay for it.
Stunning.

Anyone else receiving a kick in the arse?

We get the afternoon off for our Christmas do.

That is the only generosity we get from our employer full stop. But then we're public sector scum so why not just fucking shoot us in front of our families.

I'm only recently back working but only this afternoon i was pleasantly surprised to receive a €30 gift voucher and a box of chocolates in the shape of a football, we got the same as the permanent members of staff, also Irish coffee (hardly any whiskey compared to my old dears) and mince pies so i thought that was a really nice touch (given 4 of us are only new)

Employer isn't too bad, free beers and food tomorrow and we got a bonus which was good considering I've only been there 10 months.
Last place had a free bar which got messy, one bloke pissed all over the stair case thinking it was the toilet.

That what we've always had at Christmas and the rest of the year too. We've never had any form of Christmas bonus, time off, beers or meal paid for. We're not even allowed to put up Christmas trees in the office.

We're all leeches until some cunt wants a passport, a lifesaving operation or their bins emptied.
