Got my copy in Gamestation for £22.50 in the end, traded in COD4 and got it for half-price. I was fifth one in the queue as well.

The game is brilliant, makes the last Modern Warfare look like the last generation!

got to sainsburys at 20:30 and was 5th in the queue just as well because so many people turned up after us it was unreal.

gameplay is out of this world but my one gripe is to invite a friend it is so much hassle plus everytime you get an invite it is in the form of a message it took me 2 mins to empty my inbox

why it can't be in game is beyond me?

Yes, seems daft the way they've done it. After playing FIFA 10 for the last few weeks it seems such a cumbersome way to invite a friend. Should all have been inside the game.

Still, small price for such a fab game! :)

Bastard Tescos failed to deliver my preorder copy and I am currently game-less. It was only despatched yesterday which was obviously never going to be enough time for it to turn up today, what with the crapness of the post. Might as well have just picked one up on the way home from work today!

Hmmm!! I'm going to reserve judgement for the time being!!
It seems a bit too arcadey (?? if that's even a word!!) for me. The way they appear at windows & out of doors is like that shooting game in the arcade that you reload by firing off the screen.
The colours are also a bit arcade like!
The other COD's have just been a but more realistic & less glitzy!
Still i've only had a little bash on it last night so like I say I can't REALLY judge it yet!
When are we going to get a little B2VOS on line game going?

Called in a local Sainsbury's yesterday afternoon & no surprises it was sold out. Phoned a few near work this morning & they were also out although a Morrison's had one left, so managed to make it there in time to grab it for a satisfying £26.

Looking forward to getting on the case tonight :p

It's gonna take me a long time to get used to these maps!

I'm not keen on all the new screen messages though - who gives a fuck about 'revenge kills' etc? Too arcadey and totally unnecessary IMO.

Still, early days...
