What movies would people be shocked to know you hadn't seen?

Post by esq » Sat Oct 17, 2009 10:29 am

Thanks to a TV commercial about an upcoming showing, I realize that 30 years later I *still* haven't seen Alien. Desperately wanted to see it as a kid, had the VHS tape for ten years now, just haven't bothered to crack it for some reason!

Also never seen Gone With The Wind & don't care to, and I've never sat through an entire showing of The Godfather (although I've seen it all in pieces over the years).

I've got them to watch again though, i saw them when i was young & i couldn't take them in then
I actually had to go and force myself to buy the Godfather boxed set, purely so that I would sit down and watch them.

They're very good by the way.

I don't think I've ever watched Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi all the way through. I've seen bits of the first Star Wars many times but even that I'm not sure that I've ever sat and watched the whole thing.

I don't think I've watched all of the first Terminator either although I really enjoyed Terminator 2.

Titanic, but then again it's not shocking to not have seen this as a man.

I tend to avoid big blockbuster films since CGI took over.
Missed most big films recently but hypocritically really enjoyed Cloverfield.
