'Big Tunes Back to the 90s'

Post by aize » Thu Aug 06, 2009 8:38 pm

Just saw the add for this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Big-Tunes-Back- ... 106#disc_1 on the tv an i'm a little embarassed to admit I liked pretty much all the tunes on the add.   Must be a nostalgia thing or something.. Also, am I wrong, but I swear a couple of those tunes were from the 80s?

Oh god, please help!
Whigfield Saturday Night
Clock Whoomph! (There It Is)
Haddaway What Is Love?
Alex Party Saturday Night Party
Eiffel 65 Blue (Da Ba Dee)
Only a few reasons to keep as far from that album as possible :D Sure there were maybe 5-10 ok to good tracks.

The people behind Eiffel 65 Blue (Da Ba Dee) & Phats & Small Turn Around deserve to be taken outside and shot

I've got a couple of 90's/rave/madchester compilations. There's always some shite in there but usually interspersed with some classics.

Ashamed to admit I like these though -

The Original - I Luv U Baby
Strike - U Sure Do

It's funny to think that the 90's is almost what the 70's was to us in the 90's when we were living through it. If in 1991 I'd heard someone talking about the good old days of going out in the early 70's I would of thought they were ancient because I wasn't even born until 1975. But that's what I must be to kids today. :|

I have to disagree & lol at the same time !

Ken doh & the loveland track that i mentioned PISS ALL OVER 'what is love' , which is just absolute euro pop gash ny the way !

Each to there own though , but i think thats a pretty big statement to make !

It doesnt prove 'that the british public have no taste at all' , maybe & just MAYBE the british public arent on that tip !

I mean come on .... when will you EVER see a compilation of 93 'killer' belgium techno tunes compiled & sold ?

Probably not in our life times ....

Each to there own though !
