Seems like a nice bit of media-induced over-reaction to me.

From the BBC website...

"Of the 103 deaths in Mexico, only 20 are so far confirmed to have been caused by the new virus... In most cases outside Mexico, people have been only mildly ill and have made a full recovery."

"Russia, China and Thailand have banned imports of raw pork and pork products from Mexico and parts of the US. But Dr Fukuda said that there was no evidence to link exposure to pork with infection."

No bacon sarnies for breakfast from now on then :D

It's another world government conspiracy, with Gordon Brown doing the honours to the pig to get the flu moving, nothing like a pandemic to reduce populations and make governments look like heroes. Not sure I can give up pork, love a sausage I do
