Forum Changes?????
Matt
This forum i.e. Production Mixing Techniques has now merged with what was Hardcore Breaks/New Old skool. Personally I think it looks a mess, you have to scroll down past about 15 Sticky's to find any new posts. I don't want to sound too dramatic but I think that this move could be the straw that broke the Hardcore Breaks back!
Hardcore Breaks (Private) - that forum is never used. Can this not be made available to the Public and used as an outlet for Hardcore Breaks/New old skool?
Matt & everybody else what is your opinion?? This needs sorting out.

Re: Forum Changes?????
I think the private one should either remain private or removed. It isn't used anymore, so my vote is to get rid of it.
The production section should be named :
Hardcore Breaks / Production Section
As technically both are to do with the same thing really.

Couldnt agree more with thisWax wrote:this forum spawned hardcore breaks and should shout about it really !

Re: Forum Changes?????
Already asked for this twice, personally i would never have voted for merging them if I had known that the hardcore breaks forum would disappear altogether and I doubt anyone else would have eitherRenegadeGenius wrote: The production section should be named :

Doesn't the name "Production Section" cover the whole spectrum of makin music, weather it be HCB, Drum n Bass, Cuntry and Western, disco, oldskool, reggae, house wotever,
why does HCB need to be a separate entity ?

Re: Forum Changes?????
Either that or put the Hardcore Breaks section back up - production on here is generally for new 'old skool' which is why we want it named that.MaxxVinyL wrote:y?RenegadeGenius wrote: The production section should be named :

Being as a lot of us make new 'old skool' & are trying to get it out there, a section on here would be handy again wouldn't it.

Re: Forum Changes?????
Also since all the threads from the hcb section are now merged in with production, seems pointless not having those details in the title.

Re: Forum Changes?????
Following the same way of thinking... If all this forum is about MUSIC , why not merging all sections into a single one?MaxxVinyL wrote:y?RenegadeGenius wrote: The production section should be named :

Re: Forum Changes?????
I'm not one to get all worked up about these things, but when it was decided Old-Skool and HCB would be split into different sections (with HCB right down the page), because "this site was about old-skool", it felt like this site had turned it's back on HCB's.Wax wrote:couldnt agree more Abo !

HCB is old-skool hardcore being made today, or at least that's what I was told when I arrived here. And if you wanted to know about HCB, then this is the site you came to.
I agree with the comments about post counts, I see the posts on this site dropping off, people have to post demo tunes in the off-topic section to get any comments. Check out the Nu-Rave site, people posting every day, it's building up to the buzz that used to be on here.
Re: Forum Changes?????
Agree with OP, this forum is a mess now :(. Production area should be for production only, HCB should have it's own area for promotion, discussions etc and please get rid of all the unneccesary stickies.
