B2VOS Challenge

Post by Double Drop » Mon Mar 26, 2007 9:19 pm

Been thinking about this for a while now. How about we have a theme for a week/fortnight/month in the In The Mix section? Someone throws down the challenge and for that given period all the DJs who are willing to participate can submit a mix in that style/genre/label. No one has to, it's not compulsory and obviously if you want to post a mix in a different style you still can.

So for example this month we'd pick a topic, start a thread and all the DJs post links in that thread to their mixes.

We could judge a winner at the end of the month, or not even bother - just bask in the mixes and enjoy without judging.

What do you think?

;)

Yep, i reckon it's a good idea. Especially if the mixes have a theme.

Something simple to start things off, how about an early '91 mix to kick things off? I enjoyed that Sheffield Bleep mix the other day, it took me right back. More in that vein I reckon.

We can have some label specific mixes later.

Sticky mods?

Agreed great idea. To make it easier to track though it might be good to have a seperate 'this week / month challenge' thread. For each one.

Same as that tho, unfortunately got hardly any 91 stuff.... not enough for a full mix really.
