how come theres so many tracks without title names


i.e u browse through discogs and it just says untitled a and b side

why dont the artist just come up with a name for there tunes

volume 1 and 2 all the tracks are un named

Not everything is easy to title. I've got loads of unfinished bits with no names.
Usually a name comes from a vocal or something within the track, but if it has no vocals, can make thinking up a name quite tricky.

lol its a volume series they dont have names

volume 1 and volume 2 is the title

many do have names but dont get printed as its a whitelabel or promo

i'm sure the majority do have titles, just nobody knows what they are!

yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of tunes came out that did have titles, they just didn't make it to the record, either in the rush of getting them out, or by mistake, or to save money on stamping the tunes, I dunno.

I remember reading the F Project EPs' tunes have names, they just weren't put on the labels.

How you going to title the tracks of a white label in the 90's? It's easier now as the whites that are coming out are databased in Discogs.
