I don't think the remix is terrible to be honest, I guess you could call it the Moondance Remix :) it's an obvious, crowd-pleasing remix, which isn't going to appeal to many on here but I can imagine Ratpack/Slipmatt etc playing it, and it's certainly better than them playing Faithless and Kings of Leon!

I think because the original is so damn good it's hard to compete with it really. I think the remix sounds a bit cut and paste - I realise that's a good description of the original too, but the original has a better flow. I think the long wait/build up had me expecting more.

I think it's really good to be fair. Would have been nice if it sounded a bit more authentic but at least there ain't no gay rave break 2 step ting going on!lol

The original mix is clearly a vinyl rip
You can hear the crackles at the start
But it is a good sounding copy so it will do until I can get a decent original
I knew the remix would be shite though lol
There was far better mixes out of the remixes I heard
But they were never going to be picked, it was cheap hype to sell the pre-order
It was worth the money so I'm happy

That's just the loop sample used when it was made mate - it's present throughout the entire track. My original pressing is exactly the same. You can hear it here, the crackles are in exactly the same place in every loop:

There is no version of this track without the crackles.

Would have been nice to have a different track on the b-side instead of that remix..

But I am happy with the purchase, World Dance CD was a plus :)

I bought it when it came out, but swapped it for another tune in the same year
I wish I did have everything, my wants list is still huge unfortunately, there is loads I don't have

Oh I see, I'll just live with it then, the new one is a decent enough pressing, nice & loud & clear

Terrible, absolutely terrible...I'm glad I didn't ordered (even for the original) it would be waste of money for me

Don't worry mine only arrived today. Just gave it a spin, the pressing of the original mix is brilliant, this is definitely worth picking up for a tenner posted even if you have an original copy (mine is one of the first old skool records I ever bought in about 97, it's knackered!)

But yeah, the B side is pretty terrible, as above exactly the kind of lazy moron-pleasing tracks the scene doesn't need.

Hi,

Has hoped for a remastering, as its exactly same as original from 94. The remix is naff, can't believe there isn't a decent remix on there...

Funny thing is, I must have ordered this ages ago, as received 2 copies - waste of money!
