Spoke to someone who travelled over for the event and he too said it was a top night and Coxy rinsed out the Hardcore.

More likely to be a CD pack if anything, Raveology isn't the kind of event to give stuff away for free. But I would be surprised if Carl Cox was happy for the set to be distributed at all.

Was Coxy playing on vinyl? How does he fare technically these days? Still tight mixing etc?

I would have gone had it been an event under a different promotion. I'll never venture to another Raveology again, roughest crowd going.

Q club is a maze! Ha. Brill venue though!

He was using Traktor, in fact he's one of its advocates:

He actually had his own set up, they took away the main DJ booth while he was on. Maybe the purists might not have appreciated it but he was doing some pretty interesting stuff, loops and echoes etc. Made it a bit different from the usual stuff you hear. I don't mind old skool DJs using digital, it's just a shame most of them don't do anything they couldn't have done already with vinyl. Beat matching with sync isn't rocket science :)

I didn't see any trouble, there were some questionable looking people in the D&B room but I was with a big enough group not to have to worry about it.

was good night first half coxy was great! Then he started playing some mid 2000s commercial d&b for some reason??? Shades of rhythm was fantastic seen then do an old skool set before but it was awful! But they was on fire tonight! seduction was on form played pure vinyl set & dropped cheeba City hardcore disco! Plus a few other non anthems! Great night just love the Q CLub though it's ime a maze at times!!!
