Hi,

At the mighty Q-Club as well... This should prove to be epic!

Hi,

Hope it is more 91-92 set, with his typical techno influence, and 3-deck cutting style.

Advert says "Drum 'n' Bass", which Carl never really played...

He played an oldskool set at a festival a few years ago, and it really rocked!

This is a surprise as Carl Cox has always shunned oldskool after around '92/'93.

Peace...

Y - saw this on facebook.

Getting quite a mixed response - i think a few people are only expecting anthems....

Would love to see him back on decks and digging deep, but i expect a ratpack set :-(

Should be an easy choice for him, he played the same 10 tunes throughout 1993.

If i wanted to see a man press play on his laptop for a pre made playlist, I'll just do it myself lol!

I've bagged a ticket, despite agreeing with most of the above seeing him play a half decent old skool set would be amazing. I've only seen him DJ twice before in 2002 and 2008, and only ever techno sets.

I'm concerned less about what he'll play and what medium he'll use, but more if he'll actually appear. I won't be going if he's suddenly cancelled.

This would be my worry too.

I can't imagine he'll dig deep for this, but Carl Cox is a massive booking for an old skool event! The legend value alone is enough to make this worth checking out.

I was interested until I clicked on the link and saw Magika's mug. Wouldn't give that man a penny of my money.

yep! and as far as reasons why the set might not be that great, i'd say magika being on it is a greater one than CDs or anthems :D
