Looking forward to getting this. Nice to see Mark Mac still making good music - if you like old style Detroit techno and the broken beat kinda stuff he used to make, I recommend this album by Mark from earlier this year:

Resurrecting an old alias from the Reflective Records sub-label of Reinforced.

Wow I didnt know about that latest nu-era lp. How multi-talented are 4 hero? Criminally unheralded for all their work, they should have been knighted by now!

Ordered the cd (vinyl sold out)
Almost forgot about this, there were rumours of a new Manix album a year ago or so.

Respect to Marc Mac, this guy has been making underground music for over 20 years now, probably more like nearly 25 years!!
He is a true legend of the dance music scene, lets his music do the talking!!

He has been making music almost constantly during this period, i dont need to say anything about 4 hero and the albums he made alongside dego.
two pages and creating patterns are CLASSICS end of. Play with the changes is also top quality too.
Interesting on the 4 hero albums rarely do marc and dego make tunes together, check the credits.
Marc has also released two albums under his visioneers alias and also a few months ago he released a new album under his Nu Era guise.

All are top top quality music made the proper way, straight from the heart, all made with live instruments.

He (alongside others) developed/progressed the broken beat (west london) scene
and released numerous records on his twisted funk label, including the ground breaking scattered snares compliation.

If you havent checked out these above i strongly suggest you do now

Yes a knighthood would not be out of place IMO for services to the music industry.
At least an OBE / MBE! Iam deadly serious, that is how highly i rate him

I hope all those who managed to get the vinyl, actually like the music and will play it, and have bought it because of who the artist is and what he has done, rather than have bought it to look at or keep in a cupboard, or to make a profit on it.

What is "Broken Beat"??? I've heard the name but have no clue what it actually sounds like.

Looks like he's selling the CD seperately now as well? limited to 300 also.Given the choice between CD or digital i'd go digital these days myself.
