If I had of done this list a few years ago Finest would have been in there, Blame Seal version too. Shows how times change.

They are in sharp contrast to a lot of the prices you see on discogs these days!

Can't believe the rpice on that Fastfloors LP, I guess its because it was never fully released.

I had a load of them years ago and found it hard to shift them at £20 each!

This whole thread is pretty pointless, and shows exactly how stupid Discogs is.

Just because some idiot buys a vinyl for 10 times its real value, doesn't make your copy worth 10 times the amount.
I found copies of the Fast Floor LP the other day, I wonder what signed ones fetch.

What's also interesting is that the vast majority of people 'only' have one or 2 £100+ median tunes, most drop in to the £30-£40 area by the end of the list. So that just goes to show that all these jokers trying to charge £150 for their obscure 93 white labels are dreamers, none of them have ever actually sold by the look of it.

Also, surprised to see that 'Death by Stereo' hasn't appeared yet? Has the value of that just been killed by the bootleg?

I just added it to my collection to check it, comes in at £31.98 on Median. Thats a far cry from the £200 it used to fetch ! I paid £60 for a near mint one last year, I suppose the Median price is reflective of mostly VG+ copies. I thought £60 was a good price for a near mint.

Its true though what you mentioned, the ACTUAL sales that are happening are nowhere near some of the odd prices being asked for.

Looking at some of the lower end Median prices, i'm surprised to see so many quality tunes in the £15-£20 bracket. DJ KP Vol 2 for £15... hell of a tune but i guess not everyones cup of tea !

Price definitely has no correlation to quality, most of my favourite tunes are worth a quid or two.

I came across an amazing 92 Kenny Ken set and I hadn't heard quite a number of the tunes before. When I looked them up on discogs I was shocked at how cheap they were selling for. I picked most of them up for less than the cost of shipping and they now are some of my favourites records.

death by stereo not being on also might be down to jokers selling bootleg copies on the official version of the EP just putting in the comments that it's a bootleg... and I bet a lot more of those sell/have sold on discogs than the scarcer much pricier original!

I found 4 copies, that's all I have.

Problem is I'm never going to go to the post office to send them, so anyone wanting one is going to need to pick it up from me.

Are you still Reading way? I'm on a sponsored bike ride there next weekend so could divert to pickup a copy! (I'm sure my wife will be delighted if it becomes a vinyl buying mission)
