I have 2 45min 1993 tapes, lots of 'cut switch' action going on.

Not to bad, but a really bad scottie trainwreck is holding me back from uploading though

Listening back to it has reminded me how stressful it used to be making a tape  keeping an eye on the levels so it doesn't distort, and remembering to fade it out before each side of the tape runs out! No post editing back then!

Also just remembered this is back when I had the old 1210s from The Manor that I bought from the guys at Destiny, Carl Cox and Sasha had played on these bad boys which was quite hard to comprehend at 16 8)

Nice! Were they the ones from upstairs? If so I've used them too! Never got a chance to play in the main room.

What a brilliant club that was, behind Lazerdrome it was my favourite ever.

They were from the main room I believe, then they were in the shop for a while and I couldn't afford a new set so they sold me them after much pestering (I'd been a regular in the shop since 96 and had been going to the events too.) they were clearly years old and were completely rinsed, but they still worked!

Same as you, I played upstairs once and in the third room a few times, but never the main room :(

Spent many a mashed night in The Manor... Used to walk back to a mates afterwards as he lived at Avon Castle. Regularly fell down ditches along Matchams Lane as it was dark as fcuk! :D

my oldest one is from 1992 when i would pretend i could mix with 2 tape decks and a record player( that had no pitch ) all dodgily wired together so it came out in mono and play on both speakers instead of one tune on the left and the other on the right lol on one of the decks was my old 3d subwoofer that i took apart and stuck a needle to a screw that acted as a pitch control and the other tape deck was from a seperates system and would slow down like a turntable if you turned the power off ..... it sounds soooo bad lol..the oldest one of me mixing on decks must go back to 1994

There is a tape I did in 92 floating around amongst my mates. It has some duff scratching on it. I'll see if I can dig it out upload it.

The best i can find at the moment (apart from the tapes i got of flipside/vibes ect from 92/3/4) is my 2 best mates i used to mix with from 92/3..

This is the earliest i can find of them that stil survives, but im positive i have some earlier tapes somewhere and im sure Oly and Gaps might have some from 93/4/5... fingers crossed.

I managed to record it as i was just getting home on weekend leave from the Royal Navy in 1997 while they were playing live on Cyndicut FM

Happy Happy Dayz.
