LTJ Bukem @ Dreamscape 4 question for remake.
I'm currently waiting for El-Bland-E to show up and then I can work on this but until then I have this problem.
Theres actually one hole in the tracklisting that I forgot about and so did everyone else.
There is a track inbetween
09) (X) We Told You - Rush Till Dawn - Basement
10) (X) Dub War (Chapter One) - Dance Conspiracy - XL
Its a recording of: "This is a test of the emergency broadcast system. Had this been an actual emergency your local station in cunjunction with the relivant federal authority would have broadcasted the prerecorded anouncement"
Does anyone have the exact recording of this in .wav or at least know where this came from? I looked on youtube at "This is a test of the emergency broadcast system" anouncements and could not find the same one.
As a last resort I could use the one in the actual LTJ DS4 rip but it has conrad yapping over some of it.

Hi,
I don't remember that during his set...

He used it on quite a few of his sets along with his Star Trek and Hawaii 5 O intros. It could be on a dance record or it could be on an old 60's or 70's LP. Bugger if i know.

creepy tune btw.
edit: Seems likely that it's the exact record Bukem used since it also contains those forementioned Hawaii 5 and Star Trek intros!

Hi,
I used to use the Dr Who theme tune...
I even used to play a few Pink Floyd tracks as they seemed to fit as most were approx half the BPM.
Had a BBC vinyl with real recordings of sounds from horror films, that was ace, esp in 93 darkside sets...

Thanks Thumpson for the ID. I appreciate it.
Well if you happen to have a high quality .wav rip of this "emergency broadcast system" announcement then that would be wonderful:

I don't have to have it on vinyl as I'm just going to add it in post mix production anyway.

Re: LTJ Bukem @ Dreamscape 4 question for remake.
I finished most of it. I'm still trying to get the levels right for Tic Tac Toe as the bass in that tune is extremely loud. I also wasn't able to get Bukems two copy trick with Tic Tac just perfect but its close and I don't want to do it again.
As soon as I'm happy with the volume levels I'll post it and I'll repost the Phantasy set with it.
I'm currently working on remaking Grooverider & Fabio @ Universe 1992. I'm waiting on the Spam vol 1 remix and I have to re-order Urban Hype because the copy that HTFR sold me is complete crap.

Really, this was well known?
HTFR used to be good in the late 90s at least. I got my mint condition Isotonik Different Strokes, Psycotropic SL2 remix, and Edge 1 from there. I see that their site says "Under new management".... that explains things.
