FANTAZIA takes you TWO STEPS BEYOND! indoors

FANTAZIA TWO STEPS BEYOND VENUE CHANGE

We are sorry to announce that Donington Park have pulled out of our
... contracted event due to take place on the 7th July due to what they
describe as "possible breach of contract" regarding sound levels on the outdoor arena"..
Despite the event being more that 3 months away and the fact that we
had sound monitoring teams in place to ensure all sound level
requirements were adhered to.

We had signed a contract with the venue and paid the deposit and it is
our belief that the venue have given into pressure from the local
authorities who were clearly frightened by how quickly the event was
selling that it would become a regular event and they did not want the
event to proceed. We are obviously disappointed as we are aware of
the level of excitement the event has created with over 2000 tickets
already sold...

However we are not going to roll over and cancel the event...we are simply
going to relocate to the fantastic Bowlers Exhibition Centre in
Manchester where we held an amazing party in October.

The line up will remain the same with a few added acts to balance out
the arenas and some extra surprises. Bowlers is an amazing venue in
many ways superior to Donington. This will be a 17hr event starting at
mid day and going through until 5 am with huge outdoor funfair and
funzone which will have a beach party theme to add to the summer feel.

We do apologies for any inconvenience however the authorities will
not stop "Two Steps"..

To those that have already purchased a ticket as a gesture of good
will we will offer all standard ticket holders a free funfair pass.
VIP ticket holders will get a £5 drinks voucher to use in the VIP bar.
Passes will be issued on arrival.

In addition as a special offer you can contact the Fantazia office or
the ticket sellers and get a ticket for our Superheroes event at
Motion on Saturday 31st March at the discounted price of £20 + BF fee.
Limited places are left and are available on a first come basis. To
do it via our website enter in the coupon box: Super

If you cannot now make the event we will offer a full refund if
required. Please contact the place you originally purchased your
ticket from to receive one.

For those in the Donington Area that have already booked tickets or
those that have travel tickets that cannot be changed we will be
running a free coach from Donington Park the 60 miles to Bowlers. Call
Fantazia with your ticket number to book a place and time slot.

Again we apologise for any inconvenience. If you need any more
details call us 9-5pm on 01242 300 188 .

We hope to see you in Manchester for what promises to be the best
event of the year.

Peace and love.. Fantazia

Well people who went to the Bournemouth Fantazia (which was actually done by Slammin' Vinyl) didn't seem to enjoy it too much.

Second that, if you call turning up and turning on the decks and the house lights amazing visuals and a spectacular show then I would think again. May be time to face facts, that its never going to be 1992 again and any event no matter how big and what djs play it will never be the same...

Meh, I was tempted.

But there's no way I'm going all the way to Manchester and indoors.

Retro Trax is looking more attractive.

Yeah mate Manchester is just to far lets face it.... I went to 'one step beyond' and besides thinking it was a load of pish I remember the trek was a fair old way....all of us were very dissapointed :(

I think besides the fact there seems a lot to cram in (if the line up all play) that Retro Trax looks well worth a look.... I know it closes early but I should think there will be an after party/parties somewhere... I read on another post someone thought it sounded to good to be true which I kinda agreed with but there has been no news yet right?

That's not very good then, Fantazia are always so up them selves about how much of a legend and how good they are [-X

Really pissed off with this. Definitely getting a refund as a night in Bowlers doesn't appeal, especially when it was supposed to be old skool outdoors in the summer. We just can't seem to get a decent big event in this country. Retro Trax is a festival so that's different - I mean something where it's just head up there on the day and then back the next morning.

I opted for the refund too. Did you just email fantazia enquiries? I think im still going to go as im in manchester and bowlers is a really good warehouse venue. I have VIP tickets though and am just going to pick up a normal one nearer the time.

I went to the last one at bowlers and what worries me is that bowlers really is favoured by the northern house crowd. think vertigo sets (which i love btw). I signed up for the 92 donnington experience though and wonder how many of the bowlers crowd who will now be going will be in for ratty, seduction etc? This was the reason that the 'fantazia legends' were in room 2 last time.
