this is nothing new have been offering the service for a long time but not ever had many takers until posted upon discog's have now a had a few tapes sent through which have been ripped and the people i ripped them for seem to be happy check the feedback in post on discogs

So If you should have tapes floating about that you are unable to RIP yourself then hit me up via email, I will RIP and Then Clean Rip Up ( remove any Hiss, Sort Levels ete etc ) then upload the mp3 ( password protected ) for you on mediafire or megaupload, if you should want the tapes returned i will also do this as long as you put in a stamped addressed envelope.

I may well be getting in touch I think (got some wicked stuff to share, but no gear to rip them myself with). Nice one Daz for bringing all these wicked tapes to the masses.

I've got an old Hype Kiss FM Jungle show tape I would lik eto get ripped, its from 95 and he plays so many good tunes for the first time like Angles, Circles, On fire tonight, funkinemup... also got a kenny ken one that pretty cool too

As for actual rave tapes, I think most of the ones I was aftr have already been done

Well I finished ripping my tapes years ago, but do you offer a "rip from MiniDisc to .mp3 service" cos i've got 600 of these fuckers to plough through?

Do you have a DAT to rip DAT cassettes? I've got a box of DATs full of recordings from various live events, lots of which were never released on cassette.

I thought it would be nice to have full recordings, remember casettes with a different DJ on each side, they NEVER had the whole sets...

I use dats at work so can get anything off them

I'll get in touch with Phil in the future, as if he uses them at work then they must be of good quality & serviced.

DAT machines can be very delicate inside, as I've had 2 break on me & chew-up the DAT tape, which lost me a good chunk of a set from a 1993 live recording, and worse still, 2 tracks that weren't saved on a hard drive - both tracks had to be reworked from scratch & were obviously slightly different & annoyingly, not as good 2nd time around...

so many tapes
so many users

but yet nobody wants anything ripped ?

think will pack the FREE ripping service up !
