Sacred Do It Together (what's the vocal from?)

I post this yearly on the site in the hope that a new user comes along and knows this, it's also a shared annoyance by other sample ID spotters.

The female singing vocal on Do It Together has escaped everyone so far, can you.. for the love of God and all that is good... help the sample ID spotters with this?

oh my! i asked this a while back with no reply, then rg did one of his vocal tricks and gave me a vox just of the singing, ( although it was clean of any instrument, it had a slight flange to it ), not long after that i played it too someone and they spotted it..... now all i got to do is remember what it is, pretty sure i dl-ed it too.

im pretty sure Cut & Run,Eyeski & E Lab Rat have all used the sample recently so if you can get 1 of them they may be able to point you in the right direction

Yeah that's the one everyone points out.

I guess it's possible it's an original vocal.
He did after all work under One Tribe with Gem (whoever she is) so it's a possibility it's not from anything.

The Cut & Run remix seems to use a really lowfi sample for the remix, you can hear it's almost trying to hide in the mix.

P.S the Hustler convention CD is an all time must, I have to remember to get hold of a copy of that.

Maybe we don't need the ID after all - had another play with cleaning up the vox & got it sounding pretty decent (as long as there's something else behind it.

On a bit of a tangent here, but can you tell me the source to that break you're using in that remix? It's bugged me for years after hearing it being cained on Metalheadz stuff, or did you just take it from Angel or something?

I got it from a KF sample pack that Luna C put up - no idea where it's originally from I'm afraid.
