Re: Wonders of the Stoner System

his stuff is a bit lighweight - so i'm told by my boss who was a physics teacher. Apparently cox failed to mention that newtons law can;t be used to predict the orbit of mercury.

I took his word for it.

Re: Rave book

the wayne anthony book is a great read. also, the jane bussman once in a lifetime book is really fun, has interesting facts, and you will find bits you missed in it for months. Prob my fave. Didn;t really rate energy flash, and besides so much has happened since then (late 90's), its really only goo...

Re: When was the first tapepack/tape released?

i've got 3 sunrise tape rips from the same pack and they must been 1988-1989. The sets are *unkown DJ*, carl cox and paul trouble anderson. Has the organiser on the mic talking about police helicopters landing on the field and so on. The carl cox set has got a mix of ride on time, and a great tyree ...

Re: DJ Hixxy

i really loved Happy hardcore up until around 1996. I still listen to the old dreamsacep sets from 94 - 95. Some great tunes, lots of breakbeats and a nice variety. But when the stabs came in and the breakbeats left it was never the same. So i just got more into my DnB, and when i lots interest in t...

Re: Battle: Los Angeles

i've heard its gash. formulaic, nothing new, typical hollywood etc etc. films like district 9 don't come around that often. you're better off watching starship troopers again.

Re: so how many big/public revivals has oldskool actually ha

The music was only PART of the SCENE, so unless the government do away with the Criminal Justice Act, then there will never be a revival as there will never be huge outdoor parties! After the students kicked-off last week, that has simply cemented the fact there will be no more outdoor events EVER ...

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops

i thought COD 3 was shit. Only ever liked COD 2 and COD4MW.

So i don;t think i'll bother with this new one - same old. I'm still playing Halo Reach, which is a massive improvement over halo 3.
