i'm sure there are a few decent tunes out there that nobody knows yet, but surely there can't be that many. there's only about 20 tunes on my wants list at the moment. like most i only know tunes from old tapes, which i used to have hundreds of, so surely if none of the big dj's back then played the...

as i always say though dave, in my opinion the vast, vast majority of obscure tunes are shit. they are obscure for a reason - nobody liked them back then  there's probably only as few hundred tunes that are pure gold IMO. plenty of quite good/average tunes, but then who wants to hear average tu...

and im not an old skool elitist or whatever you wanna call it, i just value my collection for what it is, saint elusive and all the repress crew make all my years of hard work tracking tunes down basically a waste of time... i defintely agree with that point. all that seperates dj's from each other...

old skool has definitely had it's day, there's virtually zero smaller/dedicated events on any more and old skool rooms are more often than not the quietest unless the event is sold out so people have to go in there  2002 was the biggest year by far, and it's just died down more every year since...

is that the same guy who sold the last one? well out of order :gay:

dave you should rip off his text/clips/images and ebay them yourself. his clever wordking that never mentions it's a repress seems to fool everybody.

2 of my favourite albums are these:

http://www.discogs.com/release/455327
http://www.discogs.com/release/337944

wicked mixing and scratching, and a good mix of upfront (well in 1996 anyway  ) and old school.

not sure where he went wrong really, his albums are proper gay these days.

interesting, that site seems to be run by pez, i always thought he just designed the flyers rather than actually having anything to do with them.

yeah he also invented a lot of scalextrix etc, he worked for hornby for most of his life.

it's a crying shame, he's a very talented and creative man but can't even sit up any more :(

the short answer is that you can't simply copy and paste out of word. like you say it buggers up the formatting. you need to set up some styles, preferably in a linked style sheet or in the "head" of the page. for example: h1 { color:#003399; font-weight:bold text-align:left; } p { color:#000; font-...

yeah i know what you mean charlie, i didn't mean we are all sell outs on here, more that rave was only such a phenomenon because of how fashionable it was. the vast majority of people at the likes of fantazia probably don't even look back on that period with fond memories. i get the impression that,...

i think "hardcore" has been around long enough to truly deserve it's title now. i don't see anybody slagging off techno for being the same bpm/philosophy for 15+ years? let's not forget that the sound we all cling onto (original breakbeat hardcore) only lasted about 3 or 4 years, which in reality is...
