If you like the Hessle Audio, Night Slugs and Swamp81 stuff, a couple of my mates are doing similar productions: George Fitzgerald and Elgato.

Time for something with a bit more groove to it... This one's the definition of timeless, those pads get me every time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSp5Aw7p-Q8 This one is a killer as well, sublimely out of character for Automation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6o-ruKlu8YQ Hypnotic bells from O...

Re: How do you check your router?

the best thing to do with wifi is to wep-psk it and then lock the router to only mac addresses you choose. that way even if someone get the wep key they still can't get on. MAC filtering is useless as any good wifi sniffer will show the MAC addresses of the devices on your network, which you can th...

Re: Records you paid WAY too much for

I've had three copies of this over the years, all of them with pink labels, anyone else had a pink label copy/copies? Yeah, by "white" I meant light pink. Had a few pink ones over the years, and the only black copy I've seen is the one in my collection. They were all from the same metalwork; all ph...

Re: Records you paid WAY too much for

I got a copy of the white label copy for £10 recently, only to read on discogs that it's a bootleg :( Not sure whether to believe that, even though it did come from Neil Trix's keyboard... I've had both black and white label copies before and they're pressed from identical metalwork. Unless the ma...

Re: NHS

This track isn’t a lament for the state of public health services. The “N.H.S.” here stands for Nasty HabitS, one of Doc Scott’s aliases – apparently he used to write NHS as his tag in his graffiti-writing youth. (I don’t know where I got this factoid from but I’ve just dragged it out...

This EP by Navigator is quality: http://www.discogs.com/X-Amount-Crew-Th ... ase/387369

And another vote for the MC Duke tunes on Hard Disk, especially Ultra Jungle, So Tight and Painted Man.

1400 RECORDS FOR £100. Need to go by Saturday.

Sorry to post this in here but it needs sorting ASAP... I've got about 1400 records that need shifting by tomorrow night before my landlord comes round and sees the kitchen rammed with vinyl. Nominal charge of £100 to anyone that can come pick them up from Hackney, east London by then. They're most...

Alien in 1080p

Just got hold of an absolutely perfect full HD transfer of the Director's Cut of Alien :-D None of the Alien films are coming out on Bluray for a while yet, this one's a transfer from a Japanese DTheater tape that goes for £200+ nowadays. Didn't even know it existed till the other day. Picture qual...

Re: One for the Jailbreak massive

Good app, although it's basically just a recompile of the open-source iPhone Browser project: http://code.google.com/p/iphonebrowser/ I find the unfortunately-named iFunBox to be a better solution as it lets you rip existing music & video files off the phone, search for files by name and for some re...
