Supposedly a very well featured media player (divx, mkv etc) with a usb port so you can use a flash drive/portable hd/whatever, as well as a decent bluray and dvd player. Hmmm I like new toys!

Re: DivX / Xvid compatable DVD players
If I can slightly hijack Stu's thread but with a highly relevant question - anyone know of a BluRay player with USB connectivity and divx etc playback? That WD thing looks very tasty but I need something that will play both physical disks and files off a usb stick/hd. It seems probably a waste of ti...

Re: World war one photos
Yeah I was going to say the Imperial War Museum too, sure they'd bite your hand off. If he was an official photographer and took some good quality shots, and they literally haven't been since the war ended, then they could potentially be quite a significant find. One thing you notice when looking at...

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Bastard Tescos failed to deliver my preorder copy and I am currently game-less. It was only despatched yesterday which was obviously never going to be enough time for it to turn up today, what with the crapness of the post. Might as well have just picked one up on the way home from work today!

Re: Thinking of buying an old console ....
At the risk of not being "oldskool", have you considered just getting an xbox 360? I've kept having dalliances in the past with classic games and consoles that I remember being great, and finding that they're not as good as I remember and dont keep my attention. Then I got a 360 not expecting to use...

I use Chrome but have been through firefox and ie before that, and although chrome does crash it does so less often than the other two, is faster and generally more functional. Shame someone cant make a simple stable browser that just works really!

Ouch. There's another set of pics later in the thread after he's had his fingers amputated. Don't fancy that much.
