That actually did cross my mind! Nevermind, just grabbing some more good ones off a film I watched recently.RenegadeGenius wrote:You should save these for the next remix compo

Lost In Space Samples
I was recently trying to track down the "Deep Thrust Telescopic Probe" sample as used in the Cyanide 45 track of the same name and found it in Episode 1 of the original 1965 Lost In Space tv series. I also grabbed various other samples from the episode that sound like they could be useful, and given...

Re: Hardcore Lives Tuner v5 is now out !!
Ah yes it would probably do that, i will make it default to the users "My Music" folder or something in future releases. I am not a big fan of vista and use XP Pro on our machines. I have a VMWare install of vista for testing but run everything as Admin so didn't notice. Nice one Pete. I much prefe...

Re: Hardcore Lives Tuner v5 is now out !!
Should work fine on anything :) - does for me :D I think it's to do with Vistas User Access Control. If I leave it at the default C:\Program Files\Hardcore Lives then it doesn't error but doesn't save any file there either. If I point it to the C:\ drive direct, the app crashes and has to be restar...

Never heard this before but, IMO, I think that the intro deserves a much better record than what becomes of it.

I'm 34 and still have it blasting out the car :D
For me it comes and goes, I'll probably be listening to something different next month and then I'll get to 'rediscover' rave all over again a bit later on!

Re: Name me some credible monitor speakers
I got my Edirol MA-15D speakers in that price range a year or so ago and have been happy enough with me being a 'casual music producer'

Re: Edit: IF not FL, what?
My main obstacle right now is matching BPMs on my samples individually. I've got some acapella loops I recorded from vinyl ages ago that I'd like to speed up to match tempo of a break I'm using, but the knob in FL is so imprecise as to be useless. Is there a simple solution to this outside of the s...

Re: Nineties - Has it been so good since?
And what exactly has happened to Drum and Bass and House since 2000, other than simply be made more and more professionally made without any massive innovation.. Its nice but it doesn't quite kick you up the arse and make you dance. ive been saying just that, for years especially about house music....

Re: isn't it about time we had another compo?
RG mentioned in his Burial Remix post here that he would get some stuff together for a remix comp. I assume he meant a Leviticus sample pack but Bish Bosh seems a good suggestion too :)
I can spare some time tracking down stuff for sample packs if needed (and where possible!)?
