So was this an actual vinyl pressing or a single dub cut? I assume you didn't pay for mastering+plating+etc for just one, so it's prob an extended life dub? Def would buy these on vinyl if they were released, esp in a super limited amount :) hi pete you can get a one off Vinyl LP cut with mastering...

JD-800 had loads of atmospheric pad/string patches also a few years later the Korg Trinity there is lots of akai cd's that have those type of samples "Best Service Dance Mega Jungle/Rave" has most of those sounds used by peshay , bukem ect.. if your after a new module i would recommend the Roland XV...

there is a feature on some synths called chord memory
or you can just draw the midi notes in by hand on the sequencer
and most note based sequencers have a piano roll screen that you can select different chords
but it really isn't that difficult to play house / hardcore based piano patterns.
