"When I was approached to compile and mix Anthems 2 I was overjoyed, especially after the success of The Anthems '92 - '97 and the fact that I could select tunes from as far back as 1998, when my DJ career really started. Raindance was the first big party that I used to play for, from their home base in Essex, travelling around the country to places like Cambridge and Leicester, to name but a few. Back in those days the music wasn't segregated into styles, all styles of rave music would be played at the same party. This album captures these years with the full spectrum of underground dance music, taking you on a journey from '88 through to '92.

There is a tune on here for everybody to remember, that will conjure up memories from their own summer of love."
