"With the increasing amounts of old school and back to ninety something parties/events/raves, we have had a huge interest in our back catalogue classics. Every week we get calls and letters asking for some of our hard to find anthems. The decision was made in tradition of Subbase value for money to the record buyer that we should compile an album of some of the most in demand and hard to find selections from the earlier catalogue.
All of these titles are genuine anthems and many made a significant impact on the national top 75 (even top 40) and dominated the national dance charts in the early 90's with many number ones and top tens. In a gallop poll of the Top 100 dance labels in the U.K. published in Music Week in 1992 Suburban Base Records ranked 4th, and the label accounted for over 2% of the total dance market during this period leaving the rest, including many major labels, trailing behind.
It will be unlikely that these tracks will ever be available again in the future, especially on vinyl. If you tried to source all these tracks from a specialist collector shop you'd need a lot of time and a lot of money, here we have all the tracks you need at the price of a regular album, bargain!"
