Sub Base are reissuing five releases for Record Store Day, one release from each year (1991-1995) on clear vinyl.

Yeah I'm sure they will be available everywhere, Sub Base wouldn't waste their time doing a couple of hundred copies.

They could shift 700 copies of This Sound easily.

The best track of 1992.Not as keen on the flip but it's still OK.

Shame they didn't put E5 remix on the flip

I'm pretty sure nobody has the masters for the E5 remix, it's never been available digitally despite them releasing almost every other track over the years.

Really? Sounds about right if it's never been released. Big shame if true.

I guess they could do a vinyl rip, sounds fine if done properly.

Is the remaster noticeably an improvement from the original release?

The cheapest I have found them is in beggars in Kingston. £8 each. Am I in a really minority of people who don't really like this sound is for the underground?

I'm not a massive fan of the original mix to be honest, I never heard it on any tapes BITD, everyone played the E5 remix which is far superior. Manic Stampede is awesome though.

I must admit I haven't bought these represses because I checked them out in a shop and was not impressed with the quality. Every single one of all four releases I checked was warped, ranging from slightly bowled to unplayable. Also the labels look very cheap and tacky compared to the original Sub Base labels. I didn't even bother listening to them.

Don't rate the remix.Too fast, too much going on, doesn't hit as hard as the original.I do enjoy into the night and the slammer although not keen on that scream sample in the slammer.Original mix of this sound is in the top 5 tunes of 1992 easy.
