It's 1988 and a new dance crazy is sweeping the UK. Newspapers are claiming it is corrupting the nations children. TV news is full of images from "Acid Rave" music and drugs parties. The "smiley" logo can be seen everywhere, from T-shirts to car stickers to posters. And in the middle of all this we hear the chant of Acciieedd coming from every teenage car stereo and walkman. We, the rave generation, have arrived.
