Hoverproject was formed after Minneapolis DJs Arjay Khetamine and Scam became frustrated with the lack of decent quality hardcore being released. Instead of contributing to the mess of "intelligent hardcore", they opted to go back to the roots of the music, incorporating new production techniques that have evolved since the days of the tracker.
