Regarding if he had some tunes left in his "Basement"

and why that 20 Hurtz seems so rare..

This is what he said:

God only knows why someone would pay £120 or even half that for a tune.

This will either make you laugh or cry, but when I moved house in 2000 I left at least 500 white lables of various tunes I made outside for the dustman - I couldn't be arsed to move them! I probably threw away over £10k - but they were worthless to me at the time - and I still don't see their worth now.

Now you can see how 'bothered' I was (and still am) about stuff like this you will probably understand why I don't have much of these tunes lying around.

thats just weird though, to wipe out part of your past. others woudl kill for the opportunities he had DJ'ing, and now he can't be bothered with it. strange.

Is he crazy ? I thought some of those records would hold sentimental value to him. I personally couldnt just throw it all away like it ment nothing. Does seem strange. We all move on from things cause thats just life i guess.I bet there was a copy or 2 of The Creator in that pile also, Yikes !

That's heartbreaking, they'll be in a landfill now...imagine how many collectors those tunes would have made happy!

He and Paul Clarke run a software development company now, at least there's a nod to his past in the company name!

I can understand that, I have loads of hard boiled that didn't sell and I'd love to burn them.

That's crazy. why is it worth £50?? I have a boxes of hb in my room. 004 killed me off for money and only sold about 100 copies. I only wish hardcore breaks didn't fall apart so quick in this country.

Feel the same when I see the JSA stuff go for silly money. I got box load of 006 some where.... Think there must only 5-6 in circulation Only time I get the hump is when I see people selling the ones I gave them. Also just because some one has listed a tune for £50 does not mean its worth it.... not that I'm saying your stuff is not worth £50

Back on topic..... Loads of producers have "moved on" & try not to look back. People made a shite load of cash back in the day & the people that produced the stuff made fuck all. I can understand why some people don't care.

I can defo understand him not caring now if he's got lots of rewarding work he's currently doing + given how much of an "unsung" hero he was for those old tunes... probably why he never responded to my request for an interview. :(

Even if he didn't care for the tunes, throwing away potentially £10k+ of anything has got to hurt! He sounds cross to me!
