... I still play the arcade versions of Tiger Shark, Wonder Boy, Robocop, New Zealand Story & Bubble Bobble. Anyone else like to fire up the retro games & have a blow out.

Was just playing New Zealand Story on Mame yesterday :)
Along with Rampage, Bubble Bobble & Hypersports.

Few months back, also played Simon the Sorcerer on the Scumm engine with my little girl - almost finished it, but there was a bug near the end & you couldn't finish it which was annoying!

Also loaded up the Monkey Island games for a quick play.

I recently loaded up colossus chess on a c64 emulator.
The result is the same as 20 years ago though, still can't beat the computer!

Love a blast of Wonder Boy occasionally, but always get stuck on the same level where I can't make a huge jump.

Other games i'll play on MAME are Pacman, Pacland, Track N Field, Rygar & Scramble.

Still pull out my N64 occasionally too & play a bit of F-Zero X, Super Mario etc.

I only play old games, can't be bothered with new ones. I watched a Youtube video of the new Alien game recently, it took about 2 hours for the guy to find his first Alien! Sod that, I'd be bored after 5 minutes.

Currently playing Zelda Oracle of Seasons (Game Boy) on my daily commute, and Beneath a Steel Sky on my Amiga :)

Is that Alien Isolation ? I bought that but haven't actually played it yet - I did hear that it takes a while to get going. There are a lot of good modern games, some that I have been through on the 360 were amazing and I didn't want them to end : Dead Space, Red Dead Redemption, Call Of Duty 4, Forza 2, Kameo Elemnts Of Power + more. I've still got a whole bunch of titles to play, but don't even have my 360 setup at the moment as so busy with other stuff. As with all consoles there are good & bad games, you just have to sort out the wheat from the chaff. I remember there being plenty of awful ones on the Amiga - try it once and throw the disk away !

Still fix (old 28+yrs old capacitors) and play Acorn Atom, electron, bbc micro & master128
here's a pic last year when it was sunny:

also fixed a Sega Mega Drive 16bit the other week (cleaned cart slots and cart gold fingers), so could play Sonic the hedgehog.
Playstation 1 &2, Nintendo DS lite (hacked) Wii (hacked with all games on a USB external drive)

ow, and the Adman Grandstand 6000 still works without fixing!

a bit (excuse the pun) of a pure retro head! \:D/
