If I remember correctly - the Burtons group bought them out and rebranded all the Fosters shops "Burtons".....

Fosters was the only menswear shop in my home town (Felixstowe) when I was growing up!! I remember saving up to buy some chinos and a silk shirt for the end of school disco :)

Didn't Burton's partner up with TopMan? I'm sure we still have a Burton's in town?

Michiko Koshino

It was a shop, Johnny. ;-)

Bloody hell! Dossee Possee and Chipie bring back some memories, man!

Indeed mate id pay big money for a pair of Chipie Jeans with the stars and stripes on the back pocket, if memory serves me right i paid £75 in 92 for threse jeans which was a lot back then.

BUT what i really desire is a Daniel Poole World Sound systems t shirt just to almost complete my perfect old skool look, i have the Fila Trailblazers which i never wear, the Schott bomber jacket which i occasionally wear.

Can't you find any on the net, John? I'd have thought you might come across some stuff like that on eBay or some shop that sells rare/discontinued clothing?
