recylce into reason dr rex

Breaks, Old Skool, Nu Skool. Interested in how it's all done or have advice to offer? Post here

hi..anyone please tell me how to get a loop into my dr rex on reason 3? i use recyle then you can use your loop in dr rex..i think you need to save as wav or rex file? but what steps do i take to load up a sample? thanks budding producer learning!!
i`m on a high dont know why,must be the sound of dj die...

hi,

save it from recycle as a rex file, then create a dr.rex in reason and load the .rex file into dr.rex. there is a folder icon on the front panel just under the dr.rex logo.

Once loaded you then then click 'to track' to dump the midi notes to the sequencer. Then read recycling breaks thread in this forum.

I would suggest upgrading to version 4, the Thor synth is just amazing...

im still on 3, the new features look good on reason 4 though, thor looks and sounds phat! i hate upgrading though, even more so when its a complete sequencer change as with reason 3-4.
