"Break of dawn" remix?
"Break of dawn" remix?
Anyone know the name of the mix/i.d of this track? It's the first tune on the top mix.
It's got the 'woo-ah'/'ah yeah' sample on it over a 4/4 beat.
Any ideas? Here's the link...

It maybe this:

I have it somewhere, but it's a white, so will be hard to find.
I know it had some 'ah-yeah' samples in it, but not 100% sure if it's the same mix as on your link. (it's been a while since I listened to it).

Must be the one, feller! Sound's like something from '99 as well, that's about the time when I first heard it.
Massive thanks, pal! Been after this for waaaay too long! Top man!

Like I said - I do have this Loose1 on vinyl, but I'd had to try and find the bugger :)
Thought I might have recorded it, but can't find anything on my drive.
If I do get a chance for a quick flick through the vinyl I'll let you know.
Re: "Break of dawn" remix?
Cheers mate, I'd appreciate that a lot if you could do it!

Had a look this afternoon - so far no luck.Restless wrote:Cheers mate, I'd appreciate that a lot if you could do it!
I've got a couple of piles of old skool, although not sure it'd be mixed in with them, but that's the last couple of piles to look through.
They're all in the garage (which has no power) so will have a quick look tomorrow when it's light.
The other issue I have is my little boy has destroyed my stylus (the needle is just gone!) so need to try and find another stylus if I do manage to find the vinyl.
Re: "Break of dawn" remix?
No problem matey, thanks for trying and thanks for your help! Been after this gem for many a year, so it's great to finally get the I.D of it after all these years. Thank you!

Just had another look - can't find the bugger so it is possible I sold it some years ago before moving...
It definitely sounds familiar on that clip, so I'd say I'm about 90% sure it is the LOOSE001 version I had - but can't be 100%.

Well I'll buy a copy of it anyway. If it is the one I'm after, result! If not, it's only a few quid loss.
Cheers matey!

Easy mate, it was the LOOSE001! Been after it for years, so thanks for making my "wants list" shorter!renegadegenius wrote:Just had another look - can't find the bugger so it is possible I sold it some years ago before moving...

And if there's any chance, could you pm me an mp3 of it as I can't find my recording of it (And I usually record most things if I sell them on).
Re: "Break of dawn" remix?
Mate, I'm honestly clueless with that sort of thing. Hence why I never made the transition to digital fully! Sorry, man.
