Yeah, excellent EP. The lack of basslines in the tracks is a bit odd though...still works mind you! The A1 is the best IMO.

I like Return and I also have all of the Audio Assault EPs, fantastic tunes as well. It's basically my sort of hardcore down to a T - techno influences and just ridiculous amounts of stabs, maybe a bit of acid - and that's it

Yeah the toytown ep is the best of the bunch... all written on an atari with an 8-bit currah sampler (some of you may remember them being advertised in the game magazines).

Mike mentioned that he'd rig everything through a flange pedal for a guitar to do some of the effects. A lot of the samples at the start of tracks on his EPs were played straight off tape, then the Atari manually started afterwards.

I know what he means, though - it's not so much them not being polished, but they do sound a bit flat...probably cos there isn't a big dirty bassline underneath it all.

Saying that, I love them anyway.

the 'Godzilla' track sounds WICKED over a club system - proper 'grit-your-teeth' stuff. 8)

Rising High definitely is a wicked label. One I feel I should have more of.

It's all about Knight Phantom - Worldwide Terror
