You might want to step outside when dougal is on then mate
haha yeah. there's only a few happy tunes which would really put me off...but Dougal is one of the people who's likely to play em :)

i did once actually leave a rave after hearing Heart of Gold  it was a Dream FM reunion i think? I was getting tired anyway as I'd been out the night before too. But then that fucking song seemed like a perfect cue to leave

How can you leave to "Heart of gold", but listen to stuff like this (check 15.50 in for utter nonsense!)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mls34z8M70c

I'd rather listen to "HOF" on LOOP for 8 hours than this rubbish!

23.00 is banging! Love a bit of hardcore techno, would much prefer that to Douglas 'rainbow in the sky' happy hardcore any day of the week. That's why I loved going to the bangface nights in London, you could go from listening to an acid set to oldskool to 200bpm madness. Amazing!!! Would love to see producer or Scorpio on the line up doing a techno drone set in the main room but doubt The Bournemouth crowd would get it.

Haha cheers Rich :D Yeah to be fair Dougal probably gets the biggest reaction there, Fusion was traditionally a Happy Hardcore rave so I can understand that, plus Rich is right Ratty cleared the floor, it wasn't that he was playing bad tunes (Drummer of Doom, Mayday Mayday, New Direction etc) but it just seemed a little lethargic after two hours of Happy Hardcore at a much faster tempo, caused the energy in the room to drop and people went to explore and see what else was happening. I think that's always going to be a problem when you play different styles in a multi arena event, and maybe why there's a lack of 92-3 era. Krome and Time smashed their set though and were playing the same kind era as Ratty, so who knows.

That video of the Firestation looks embarrassing, I've been to better weddings.

Is that how many people turn up? Looks empty?

Each to their own. ;-)

Anything over 175bpm and it's a no-no.

There's simply no way that music at that tempo will have what I like.

Heart of Gold reminds me of nazis and fash. Something about it's extremely regimented rhythm.

I think every one has sold out so far and the main room can hold 800.

That's a sick mix! Deathchant was a quality label (loved the Hip Hop influence) and Producer is a brilliant DJ.

One of my all time faves:

haha where did that come from? are you deliberately looking up music you don't like to get annoyed or something  i think you like it more than you will admit :p

anyway best bit in that mix is 41:40 - one of the finest crazy breakdowns in hardcore techno. (Hardcore Body Harvest is the tune).

also not everything over 175 bpm is necessarily super hardcore. you never know there might be something fast you like even if it's not hardcore techno...

Nope. I've been to enough raves and heard enough of it to know I hate it.

Serious fucking tune at 215 BPM on Epiteth.

I wish the UK djs played more of this and German hardcore rather than dull as dishwater and undanceable acid tekno and gabber.

This too!
