Fusion This Saturday
Anyone going from the Forum, looks like an almost sell out event. Slipmatt doing a 92-96 set and apparently J J Frost doing a 92 set....

Re: Fusion This Saturday
Nope. Really wish I was though! Always wanted to rave down in Bournemouth and on the South Coast.
The last few events (or one?) have been mental, apparently.
What's the venue like?

Re: Fusion This Saturday
I am! Hoping for plenty of happy hardcore, which seems to be on the cards. And Easygroove to play at least a couple of harder/weirder tunes.
I've just noticed Mark EG is on there too. If that means some oldskool hard trance...I will be very happy.

Will be there, its my Birthday on Saturday. Not feeling the look of the line up one bit but living in hope that it isn’t going to be the HH fest I’m predicting. Can envisage spending a lot of time in the DnB room!
Have to meet up with you peeps :)

Re: Fusion This Saturday
what sort of stuff is in the third room? not heard of any of those people so i'm intrigued. also i like the fact that there's a Rushgroove on the same lineup as Easygroove and Vinylgroover. Shame they couldn't have booked Loftgroover and Topgroove as well for the full set!
Re: Fusion This Saturday
It's usually pretty good in there mate, will be up and comers so House, DnB, Hardcore, bit of everything. The previous Fusions had a healthy amount of 92-3 in the main room which made the night for me, don't know why they've gone so heavy on the HH.
It's a nice venue if you haven't been before!

Re: Fusion This Saturday
It should be a laugh, going on the last couple the crowd tend to love the 'Heart of Gold' type Hardcore but there should be a decent mix of stuff at different times of the night as well, although last year Ratty did empty the dance floor but played a great set. It must be hard though with the drop in tempo to keep people interested.Restless wrote:Nope. Really wish I was though! Always wanted to rave down in Bournemouth and on the South Coast.

Atmosphere is great, everyone really up for it in the main room, not so sure about the DnB room, haven't been there to be honest but if Randal is doing a Jungle set then may have to go upstairs. The main room holds about 800, lasers are wicked and generally a good night out. Im taking a friend of mine and she hasn't been out for a good old rave up for about six years so can't wait. I'll be the ginger bloke by the front if anyone spots me and will be going for a couple in The Christopher Creek beforehand.

Re: Fusion This Saturday
that's exactly the sort of thing i'd like to hear from Easygroove - decent 93 hardcore and techno.
i am not complaining about it being happy hardcore heavy though. And if the Druid & Sharkey set is like a mid 90s Druid set...I couldn't wish for anything more.

Re: Fusion This Saturday
in fairness, i'd be just as happy with a night of 92/93. and weirdly not knowing what to expect definitely adds to it a little :)
I will say though if i hear Heart Of Gold at any point I will leave the room immediately

I will be there. Going to be checking Sy, Easygroove, and Randall. If you are thinking of going don't expect too much 92/93.
Ratty played at the last one and cleared the room... best set of the night for me
Be good to meet with forum guys maybe outside when hixxy bonkers set is on Haha
