Young Free Radical - Slipstream. On sapho, rising high sublabel.
DJ AKA - farside (soapbar.)
Luke Slater - Mauve Violin. Always wondered why this never crossed over to hardcore.
A reel-2-real proto jungle track from 91 which I will try and find on Youtube.
2 bad mice - underworld.
Dream - So Strange.
Wax Doctor and Jack Smooth - Unfriendly. Much better than A New Direction and Dark Matter imho.
Intoxicate - Can't Stop (creative rhythm 1992.) Miles miles ahead of all the happy stuff that proceeded it.
DJ Fokus - Chill Out/Vexed.
Dj Exodus and Head Pressure - Glass Pipe Fury.
Usi - Revolution.
Escape - Escape (The Optical Mix) (No Noise Recordings.)

I think that would be down to the fact that track isnt realy the kind of hardcore that got played by DJ's when it came out in the middle of 1993. Perhaps it may have had potential with German / Dutch gabba DJs (I wouldnt know) but certainly wouldnt have been played in the hardcore scene that this forum generally caters for.

With the possible exception of the DJ Fokus 12" and maybe the Intoxicate track, you've picked some pretty good but really obscure and completely underground tracks with absolutely no crossover appeal whatsoever. Pretty much the exact opposite of an anthem!

One track that I've wondered why it didnt get played much more often is Indigo - The Colour Of Love (Ultimate Mix). It had all the ingredients to be a huge anthem throughout 1992 but I hardly heard it played at all (note for OP / dial1 - dont think you'd like it as its a piano track)

I'm not so sure about that, in jungle techno's hayday I have a grooverider tape from early 93 with this devastating Dutch hard techno braineater.
