I Love Acid & Balkan Recordings...

Anyone else missed out on all their quality releases :( ? Surprised they've never been mentioned on here? I do regularly check this forum but could've missed it of course.

I hate all this exclusive limited runs bullshit labels now insist on. Why do they do it? All it leads to is silly inflated prices on Discogs. If the demand is clearly there why not press more and maximise their profits?

Only seen a few of these - got one of the Star Wars ones somewhere.

Ref limited runs - do a vinyl press yourself & you'll understand why.
The demand isn't there - people buy multiple copies & unfortunately then sell for silly prices some months down the line.
If you pressed 300 copies, you wouldn't even sell a 100 as the people buying multiples wouldn't.

Unless it's a 'big name' press, 100 copies is hard enough to shift in this day and age.

Quite like the tracks.Have picked up plenty of new acid vinyl over the past couple years, I think it's a hard thing for the labels to judge - how popular a certain release will be.It's a niche market with both die hard enthusiasts and sometimes crossover appeal for more casual listeners.
