Insomnia - Nostalgic/Down To Earth Repress - In Stock Now!

Post by dj jedi » Sat Sep 05, 2015 12:42 pm

Two massive 1992 tracks played by the likes of Top Buzz and Ellis Dee, plus a new remix of "Down To Earth" by me. This is a pre-order, it will be shipping out around early November. Here's clips of the three tracks:

Wow. How did you get in contact with the original producers? Did they have everything on DAT? Did they release anything under other names? Any unreleased bits from bitd? Lots of questions lol

It turned out I'd known one of the guys behind it for years anyway, I just didn't realise he was involved in it! Better known as DJ UFO, a prolific south coast hardcore and hard trance producer:

He worked in Movement Records in Southampton and also DJ'd at Stu J's Adrenalin events in Salisbury which were some of my first raves. I'm friends with him on Facebook so just dropped him a message, and he was very keen. I'm sure he will have unreleased stuff but haven't asked yet, it would most likely be 94+ stuff anyway so not sure if there would be much interest.

Always wondered what that tune was called, think it's on a Top Buzz esp supernova tape I've got. Love it

I've never met him but I can only find one other track he did, it's a techno/trance track on Stu J's Electric Kingdom label:

Those that went raving on the south coast in the early 90s will be familiar with Electric Kingdom, it was one of the events at Madisons in Bournemouth, the above label was an offshoot of the events:
