Lots of people saying the Ratpack killed the vibe with their breaks sound, Daz Willot apparently smashed the back room to bits, Fab & Groove tore the house down, SS played well/weak (real split opinion on his set), Top Buzz just played anthems, Carl Williams blew the roof off, as did Doc Scott.

All due respect to the Ratpack, but if someone books them to play an OLDSKOOL set, they should play one. Not a breaks set or anything other than the tunes from back then. Being paid ONE THOUSAND POUNDS AN HOUR you'd think they'd have the decency to play what you want. No dance floor wants their rubbish breaks revamps. I suppose they are needed to make the night work every way possible, but they are terrible.

Vibe was supposedly awesome. Really good atmosphere.

Weird how a Coventry brand had the night in Birmingham! Thought it'd have been a local thing!?

Ha! You'd think that they'd think "Wow! Can't believe I'm playing for a night that old! Better dig a little..."

What do we get? Breaks remixes of "Sex on fire" and "Born slippy"!

Its what the 'kids' want!
Do they actually play 'breaks' mixes of anything newer? Or do they just play remixes of tracks that aren't even relevant in 2015????

The kids? Ain't no kids at these kind of reunions. Veterans, more like!

Not that I know of. Just anthems from yesteryear.

I always assumed they were playing that sort of stuff in a lame attempt to appeal to the youngsters.....
Seems odd that they think the 'veterans' will appreciate it......
I suppose it boils down to if people actually stay on the dance floor during their sets?

I went ! Was not impressed! 2000 od people crammed into sweat box ! £4.50 for a 250 ml bottle of multi pack carlsberg! Rat pack played remixed 90s trance Ss anthem bashed with shit mixing! Heard energy flash a 100 times! On the plus side shades o ruyham was cool played the usual but he frontman (forget his name) is fantastic!!! Fabio was excellent ! But over all not a great night :( missed doc Scott cause had enough & went but I here h played a blinder! Oh & the VIP arena consisted of two sofas & a table with a gate rd it!!! Shame was massively lookin forward to this!

Why is there even a VIP lounge at a night which is a oldskool reunion?! Daft, IMO.
