Both copies of Digable Bass on Force Ten Records i've had were wonky, the strings sounded awful there must be some ok pressings as Hardscore's youtube vid sounds fine.

Hi,

What version of Digable Bass is on that repress? Discogs says it is NOT the original version on Proper Talent 001, so perhaps its the 'heaven' remix?

Its not a repress as the Force Ten was a '93 tune. It is the Heaven mix on the flip..

Hi,

Regarding the Force Ten release, does it matter if it doesn't play OK, since both tracks are easily available on Proper Talent anyway...

This is one reason why I thought it was a repress or later release than Proper Talent, since the tracks mastered for Proper Talent sound MUCH better...

Just listen to both said versions and if you can't tell the difference i'll assume you're taking the piss.

Hi,

wow, never realised that was a different version... I never liked Rap's releases, so I guess I never playing these BITD. I sold the Force Ten white, as I honestly just thought it was a re-press.
